I apologize for the inactivity, I have been juggling work/gym/finishing all my christmas pictures for everyone.
I promise once they are received to post them up afterwards!
Its been hard work getting these done in time but it has been blast~
For now, here’s one of my warm up pieces!
Unable to sleep, I decided to pull out Sofia and Despair from http://hazu-haze.deviantart.com/art/Detox-just-to-Retox-411172951 to use in a series of pictures, displaying personal experiences with depression.
After drawing for a couple of hours, I feel so much better~
Keep those cups full and those songs in your heart. I promise you’ll make it through.
Have a good night everyone~
Here’s some characters I’ve neglected for quite some time. They are Ecclessian Military, and go through some crazy adventures that tie to the main story. I’ll post more of them + info throughout the weekend!
Here are some sketches I’ve been working on. Allena’s desert attire is heavily inspired by Journey ‘s concept art which is awesome. Later on in the story, Allena ventures out into the ashen desert to go find herself. It would be the first time that she would leave the city alone, but along the way she meets a familiar face. Akiane introduces Allena to the people she has been with for the past couple of years during her shaman training. Despite Allena’s rough-and-tough attitude, she can’t hide her fear and anxiety when it comes to social interaction. Akiane helps Allena open up to the colorful rhythms and dance that keep the Nightkin warm during the coldest of nights.
Here we have a Nightkin skirmisher fighting the Fallore Fallwalker.
Fallwalkers are Fallore scouts that excel in close quarter combat. Like most Fallore, Fallwalkers can morph their limbs into deadly blades. This allows them to cut down their enemy with acrobatic grace. They are capable of melding their bodies into the surrounding trees for efficient ambushes. Their bodies are donned with a coat of self-grown leaves that can be used as lethal throwing knives. These leaves can also be controlled remotely so if you were to see a Fallwalker scatter leaves throughout the battle ground, you would know death is close.

First off, thank you! Yes today is the US Marine Corps 138th birthday, and branch-wide we celebrate it in a number of ways. Traditionally the Marine corps celebrates by holding a birthday ball where we all get in our dress blues and have a good time. The biggest event is the cake-cutting ceremony where the youngest marine and the oldest marine present cut the cake and hand it out to everyone else. Its a time where all marines, regardless of rank can get together and celebrate the history of our organization. It is also a time to remember those who couldn’t be there to celebrate with us. Now obviously the entire marine corps can’t just call it a day off and party, so different units have their balls at different days. The USMC is ALL ABOUT its tradition and we honor ours regardless of where we are.
I’ve only been to one formal birthday ball and it was a good time.
Even Marines on deployment celebrate. What we usually do is use the pound cake from our MRE’s with a lit match-candle. Its even better if you get an MRE with a peanut butter packet in it! :3
And of course my person favorite memory: Having my first Marine Corps birthday in Boot camp. I can remember it all now…Hope that answers your questions~!
Nightkin Skirmisher vs Fallore Fallwalker
I KNOW I’M BEHIND OK. Here’s a sketch introducing the Fallore
Fallwalker tree ninja. Here it is using its body-morphing abilities for close combat. Fallwalkers also use their body-grown leaves as deadly throwing knives ninja stars. I’ll have more info up once I color it~
Playing with some poses. I’m just trying to get the feel of movement into my drawings and also challenge myself with some “entangled” poses.
I’ll be trying to maintain at least 1 picture a day to keep the mojo going, so have some Rian/Allena being demon-slaying dorks.

I wish I could tell you, but a lot of my stuff is a mesh of things I’ve read/seen. Be sure to look up faerie folklore, its quite bizzare and interesting! I didn’t want them to be a comic-relief/tinkerbell-like faerie, but instead a much darker, sadistic variant that still looks dainty and adorable. I’ve written quite a bit about them on my offtime(Just to jot everything down-I suck at writing).
Some of the sketches below illustrate:
The biggest culprits of faerie hunting were the Fallore, who experimented on their finds, and used them as powerful sources of magic.
The faerie and Nightkin have maintained peace through a treaty that has been kept for over 700 years. (The Nightkin are honorable mofos)
The faerie-kin are powerful shapeshifters, and because of their romanticized obsession with humankind, they changed their default form to be more human-like. A faerie’s true form is a much more insect-like in appearance. This way they feel much more appealing to their masters.
I’ll be sure to upload more about them when I get time~!
